In February of 2016, I received an invitation to speak at the Design Computing Symposium at the Stuckeman Center for Design Computing at Penn State University. My presentation critiqued the cultural privileging of computation as a “neutral” arbiter of truth and the consequences this privilege has for human (inter)subjectivity.
